Stomping Ground Films is based in London and has experience working in many countries around the world. Founded in 2014 by director/writer and lighting cameraman Matthew Huntley, it has its feet in documentary and its head in the clouds. Stomping Ground marries compelling storytelling with an attention to screen craft honed over 30 years.

From long form to short form, and whatever the size of the screen, collaboration is central to the process. Demand for visual narrative has never been higher, but it also comes at a time of greater expectation from budgets. Clear and informed collaboration from concept to completion is central to good work. It keeps the process fun, on schedule, and enables creative solutions within budget.

Finally we like being here. It’s a good place, though it’s having a tough time right now. We’re on an imperfect journey but our mission is to contribute to the greater good and we’ll always seek to work with brands, companies and individuals who have sustainability and responsibility as top priorities.
